Stevens Institute of Technology is a highly selective university located in Hoboken, NJ.  It opened in 1870 as a men’s college and became coed in 1972.  The campus curb appeal is AWESOME!!  It’s located on the Hudson River with a view of the Manhattan skyline. They are offering a summer pre-college program, with 12 course options, for rising juniors and seniors.
Admission to all Stevens pre-college programs is highly competitive and based on a number of factors, including your academic achievement, extracurricular involvement and recommendation letters. The application priority deadline is February 15, 2017. Please review the required information carefully to ensure that your application is received and completed on time for full consideration. Decisions will be emailed March 1, 2017.

Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ has a handful of Pre-College Summer Programs for Rising Juniors and Seniors (Freshman and Sophomores can apply as well). We are currently offering 12 different programs ranging from Cybersecurity to Engineering to Pre-Med Biology to Game Design and Electronic Music Production. Students live on campus for the duration of the program (some are 2 week programs and others are 1 week programs). Students also visit companies that specialize within the field that the student is participating in. Please visit www.stevens.edu/summer for additional information.

Wittenberg University recognizes individual talents, experiences and passions through Special Interest Awards in the following areas:

January 15 application deadline-

  • Special Interest Award in Community Engagement  – $2,500 per year
  • Special Interest Award in Student Leadership – $2,500 per year
  • Special Interest Award in Entrepreneurship – $2,500 per year
  • Special Interest Award in Environmental Science – $2,500 per year

March 1 application deadline –

  • Special Interest Award in Art – Starting at $1,000 per year
  • Special Interest Award in Dance – Starting at $1,500 per year
  • Special Interest Award in Music – Starting at $1,500 per year
  • Special Interest Award in Theatre – Starting at $1,500 per year

These awards require a separate application, audition or portfolio.  We encourage you to apply for these awards! For more information and to apply, please visit our website.

Please note that students may apply for multiple awards, but can only receive one Special Interest Award.  If selected, students will receive one Special Interest Award in addition to one Merit-Based Scholarship.
