To prepare for the August 1st launch of its 2015-16 application, the Common Application will go offline temporarily.  This process happens every summer.  It will go live  Thursday, July 23, 2015.

During the retooling process, all current accounts will be permanently removed from the system, and you will not be able to save information you previously entered.  Any information you entered will be deleted and you will have to start again August 1st.  However, if you would like to see how Common Application works, you can do so before July 23.

The Universal College Application, another format used by colleges, will go live on July 1, 2015.  The UCA currently has 46 member institutions. This could increase by the fall.

The University of California system has an application that will be active August 1st.  The ApplyTexasForm, used by the Texas system, will be also be available August 1st.
