If you are a student interested in art, design, architecture, fashion, writing, film, or similar programs, I hope you will consider Pratt Institute, the number one ranked school for fine art and studio programs by USA Today, located in Brooklyn, New York.
Students should know about the National Portfolio Days we attend as well as our one-on-one off-campus interviews/portfolios reviews offered throughout the United States and Canada. Both are an excellent way for students to receive feedback on their visual portfolios and learn about Pratt, our programs and campuses.

Brooklyn Campus: Pratt’s main campus is located in Clinton Hill, an historic, residential section of Brooklyn just 25 minutes from Manhattan. It is home to all of Pratt’s four-year undergraduate programs but construction management and the two-year associate degree programs. Located on 25 beautifully landscaped acres, the Brooklyn campus was named one of the top ten best campuses for its architecture by Architectural Digest. Twenty-eight buildings, on-campus housing with five residence halls, several dining options, an athletic center, outstanding studio facilities, historic buildings, and brick-paved pathways make Pratt an ideal choice for art students looking for a traditional residential campus experience.
Pratt’s Manhattan campus on West 14th Street in the exciting Chelsea area of New York City houses Pratt’s two-year associate programs and both the four-year and two-year construction management programs.
Upstate New York Extension Campus in Utica: PrattMWP College of Art and Design offers the first two years of Pratt’s four-year BFA programs in fine arts, photography, art and design education (teacher preparation), and communications design (graphic design, illustration, advertising art direction). There are many reasons why students choose PrattMWP, including a substantially lower cost and a more intimate and nurturing environment. Information is available at www.mwpai.edu
