There are more than 250 student clubs and organizations across both campuses, including professional associations, fraternities and sororities, specialty clubs, and intramural sports. The athletic department in Daytona Beach, Florida sponsors 17 intercollegiate sports and has been approved for NCAA Division II candidacy, but will continue to compete in the Sun Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) through 2015.The athletic department in Prescott, Arizona sponsors 10 intercollegiate sports and competes in the NAIA, Division II, CalPac Conference. Plus, the Embry-Riddle precision flight teams have consistently ranked among the top in the country in the Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON) competitions and has captured the national championship title ten times.
