As students are completing applications this fall, here at DePaul University we wanted to send you a few admission-related reminders:
The deadline for our Early Action Program (EAP) is November 15, 2015.
We strongly encourage student to apply and submit application materials by the EAP deadline for benefits that include:
- Strongest consideration for merit-based, community service and leadership scholarships
- Priority consideration for DePaul’s University Honors Program, advising, and registration
- Notification of an admission decision by January 15, 2016
The Early Action Program is non-binding, so students have until the National Candidate’s Reply Date of May 1, 2016 to choose DePaul. Students who apply and submit application materials after the EAP deadline have until February 1, 2016 to be considered for our Regular Notification.
The Theatre School and School of Music operate under different deadlines.
Candidates for the School of Music (Deadline: December 1) and The Theatre School (Deadline: January 15) are notified by April 1. For information on the application/audition processes for each school, click on the school’s name.
Did you know students applying for freshman admission can choose to apply Test Optional?
We want to give students the opportunity to determine how to best showcase their academic potential. For more information, visit our Test Optional page.
DePaul does not require an application fee for undergraduates.
We would be happy to arrange a visit at any of our campuses for students.
DePaul offer Skype sessions with your admission counselor for students who would like to hear more about DePaul but aren’t able to arrange a campus visit. Please email ADMRecruitment@depaul.edu to request a SKYPE presentation. For additional questions, please contact our office at 312-362-8300.
