As another school year begins, we want to share some recent developments and opportunities for students at Drexel University.
Drexel will now be accepting Early Decision applications for students interested in a binding early decision. Students come from across the U.S. and around the globe, enthusiastic about attending Drexel. If Drexel is their first choice, we want to give them the option to apply Early Decision. This will allow students to receive their admission decision sooner, reducing stress and cutting the time spent waiting for a decision. Students will still be able to apply Early Action or Regular Decision if these options suit them better.
Please encourage your students to consider the benefits of applying Early Decision or Early Action. Application deadlines and more information can be found at our freshman application instructions page.
We will also be offering some flexibility in the standardized testing that we require for first year admission. In addition to high school transcripts and records, Drexel University’s new flexible standardized testing model will allow students to submit results from a variety of standardized national and international examinations. The flexible testing policy will also assist us in enrolling a more diverse and talented class who are academically prepared to handle the rigors of our curriculum. You can view more in-depth information online.
We look forward to all of the excitement that the new school year brings.
