The Office of Admission is happy to have received slightly more than 5,000 applications for Early Action consideration! Freshman and transfer interest continues to grow, first-year retention has soared over 84%, and the University has just introduced our 6th dual-degree offering – a 4+1 BA/MBA – helping the University establish enrollment records at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
While Roger Williams student-athletes look to extend our three-year Commonwealth Coast Conference All-Sports Trophy run, the National Wrestling Coaches Association ranks the Hawks #8 in the nation – and #1 in new England – in their first release of the season.
A new national ranking hails RWU’s Construction Management degree program among the five best in the country. The report commends “a well-rounded education including courses in engineering, construction, business, mathematics, science and liberal arts.”
RWU Junior Amanda Calderon has been selected to be a 2016 Changemaker Fellow. The marketing major – who minors in Web Development and Graphic Design Communication – has been recognized for the success of her e-commerce venture, by this statewide initiative to raise awareness and resources for student entrepreneurs.
We realize many students are awaiting first semester grades before submitting their applications. Encourage them to submit their Common Application before our February 1 Regular Decision deadline, to take advantage of the opportunity to show us the success they’re enjoying in their Senior year!
We remind students who intend to apply for institutional and federal aid, that the CSS Profile is due January 1 and the FAFSA by February 1.
