Salve Regina (RI) has Fall 2018 openings

Happy day after May 1!  I hope that your students were successful in their college search process, and that there weren’t too many who left decisions to the last minute.  While I hope this to be true for you, I have been doing this too long and expect that you may have some anxious students in your office today still searching for a college plan.
Enter Salve Regina University.  We still have some space left for your students who might benefit from a rigorous, but supportive, in-depth liberal arts experience with the option for pre-professional study.  Should you have a student seeking a home, I hope you will add us to their list.  Here is what Salve can provide:
  • We still have generous scholarship and financial aid dollars available
  • We will waive the application fee – Simply have them select I have received a Salve Fee Waiver under the school-specific fee waiver question on our school’s page and then send us a note so we can keep an eye out for their application and materials
  • Our academic programs are recognized for the close mentorship provided by faculty and the way they encourage independent study, research, and hands on educational experiences
  • Our students are provided ample opportunities to develop their leadership skills through carefully designed co-curricular programs like our Navigator Leadership Program
  • Our career development plan embeds career preparation throughout the curriculum and across all four years of study, focusing on scaffolding skills and University sponsored tools including Portfolium
  • Our graduates are highly successful with 99% reporting employment or graduate school enrollment within 6 months of graduation, including high placement rates to medical and law schools
  • A mission driven undergraduate educational experience that prepares graduates to learn, lead, and make a difference
  • All on what is arguably one of the most amazing campuses in the U.S. in a stunning resort community on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, Newport, Rhode Island
Salve accepts applications through the Common App, so chances are your students have already begun the process.  Our staff works closely with applicants and will assist you in providing a quick decision and aid package.  Salve seeks your students.  I hope you will encourage them to seek us.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me or any member of my staff.  We are ready to assist you.

Sincerely,

James R. Fowler, Jr. (Jim)
