Greetings from Montana State University in Bozeman!

Each year MSU awards millions of dollars in scholarships to new students. One of our largest scholarship opportunities, our Freshman Non-Resident Achievement Awards, are simple to apply for – all students need to do is:

Step 1: Apply for Admission to MSU

Apply online

* Be sure students include their self-reported GPA

Step 2: Have ACT or SAT scores sent to MSU

ACT - MSU’s school code for the ACT is 2420

If students have already taken the ACT, visit the official ACT website to have scores sent to MSU (if they haven’t already).

If your student is going to take the ACT, tell them to enter MSU’s school code (2420) when they register or when they are tested.

SAT - MSU’s school code for the SAT is 4488

If students have already taken the SAT, visit the official SAT website to have scores sent to MSU (if they haven’t already).

If your student is going to take the SAT, tell them to enter MSU’s school code (4488) when they register or when they are tested.

That’s it, that’s all your students have to do. Just remember, the funds are limited, so make sure your students apply and send their test scores as soon as possible.

Also, have your students check out why MSU is such a fantastic university. If your students are interested in any additional scholarship opportunities, information is available online.

You can email me directly at rondarussell@montana.edu with any questions.

I look forward to hearing from you!
