I hope you enjoyed your summer! I wanted to touch base about the new, in-demand majors we’ve recently added at Siena.
In addition to the undergraduate majors listed below, Saints can now earn a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Siena in just four years. This can be a huge financial savings, and provide a competitive edge in the job market.
Our new majors include:
Students can specialize in a particular field
of engineering (mechanical, electrical or civil) and are prepared to transition directly to the workforce, or pursue graduate work in engineering or physics.
With tracks in journalism, sports communication, marketing communications/digital marketing and political communications, our communications program is anything but a generic, catch-all major.
The Harvard Business Review calls data science the sexiest job of the 21st century. Think high salaries and exciting projects. Download this guide to find out why this major needs to get on your students’ radar asap.
There’s going to be over a million computing job openings by 2024, but more than 2/3 could go unfilled due to an insufficient pool of trained college grads. Students in our B.S. in software development program—one of just a handful in the Northeast—will be highly sought-after in the job market.
And don’t forget about our popular nursing
degrees that were also launched in the last two years!
If you would like more information about any of these programs, we’d love to host you on campus for a chat, tour and lunch. We are also available to come to you and speak with your students about these new majors and emerging career fields.
