Quest University (Canada) Admissions Updates

Our fall travel season has come to an end and our Admissions team is now back in the office busy working on building another class of Quest students! We had a great time visiting more than 28 different countries, 5 provinces, and 15 states as well as hosting 5 different preview events across North America.

As part of our quest for excellence, we have implemented a new application management system. We accept applications via both the Common App and this new in house system – we have no preference for which platform students choose to apply through. There are some subtle differences and we encourage you to visit our How to Apply site if students have questions about the process. We are also happy to answer any questions you may have.

Upcoming Deadlines

Just a reminder that if you do have any interested students this year, we have a few upcoming application deadlines.

February 1, 2019 – Regular Decision Deadline

All applications for Fall 2019 must be submitted by this date.

March 1, 2019 – Scholarship and Bursary Application Deadline

This is the final deadline for all of our scholarships and our need-based bursaries. We strongly encourage applicants to apply for merit awards alongside their application for admission.

All students, regardless of country of origin, are eligible for the funding opportunities listed below. Our scholarships are non-repayable funds awarded to students who meet specific achievement criteria that may include academic excellence, leadership, volunteering and other accomplishments.

David Strangway Award for Excellence - Full Tuition

This award honours Dr. David W. Strangway, Quest’s founding president chancellor, and provides full tuition for four years. Recipients will have achieved very high levels of academic excellence, a high school average above 90% (3.75 US or equivalent), combined with an outstanding record of leadership and service.

Presidential Scholarships - $2,000 to $18,000/year

The Quest program is rigorous. An applicant’s academic record is a key consideration for awarding a Presidential Scholarship, but is not evaluated on strict numerical parameters. We are also interested in extracurricular activities—not the number of different clubs a student joined, but the passion with which they pursued non-academic interests and the impact made on classmates, the community, or others.

LEAP Scholarships - $10,000/year

The Leaders in Elite Athletics & Performance (LEAP) program allows eligible candidates to pursue both an education and excellence in their art or sport. The program caters to athletes and performers at the professional or elite level.

Quest administers its own bursary program, which provides non-repayable funds to students who demonstrate assessed unmet financial need. To be considered, students must apply prior to each standard academic year by the published deadlines. For Fall 2019 the deadline is March 1, 2019.
